At USASOA, we are committed to grassroots efforts to fulfill our mission. We engage with veterans, service members and their families at various stages in life's journey. Through our monthly food collection drives, our dedicated volunteers dedicate their time to holding food collection drives that we then distribute to our FOOD FOR TROOPS distribution program and our Homeless and Elderly Veterans Outreach Programs.

Our organization has the capability to supply and distribute food, toiletries, and clothing to veterans in need. This is possible through our comprehensive food collection drives, online food donations via our AMAZON FOOD PANTRY, and generous monetary contributions. Our distribution efforts include preparing sandwiches every Saturday morning, which our volunteers personally deliver to homeless veterans on the streets and those residing in transitional housing units. Additionally, we supply food and other necessities to the Department of Veterans Affairs Homeless Shelter and Resource Center in Northeast Washington, DC.

We invite other nonprofits, businesses, schools, corporations, places of worship, and the general public to collaborate with us at our Capitol Hill office on Saturday mornings. Here, we come together to prepare sandwiches and assemble care packages for veterans who have rightfully earned and deserve our utmost care, compassion, and support.
