Below is a list of nonperishable food that we collect every month. Our volunteers deliver the food to the Department of Veterans Affairs Homeless Shelter and Resource Center, 1500 Franklin St NE,. Washington, DC 20018. We also supply food items to three VA Transitional Housing Units and to elderly veterans who are food insecure.
Through our Food For Troops program, we distribute food and other essentials to low-income military families at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland and US Army Base, Ft. Belvoir in Virginia on a monthly basis.
If you cannot attend our food collection drive, please consider donating food by going to our online Amazon Food pantry, and for as low as a few dollars, you can donate food for these programs. USASOA Amazon Food Pantry
