As a part of our HOMELESS AND ELDERLY VETERANS OUTREACH PROGRAM, our volunteers make and distribute sandwiches on Saturday mornings to homeless veterans on the streets and veterans living in transitional housing units. During the winter months, we also make soup along with sandwiches. We also provide nonperishable food items, toiletries, and clothing to the Department of Veterans Affairs Homeless Shelter and Resource Center in Northeast Washington, DC, and US Vets Transitional Housing unit in Washington, DC.

We encourage other nonprofits, businesses, schools, corporations, places of worship, and the general public to join us in our Capitol Hill office on Saturday mornings to make sandwiches and assemble care packages for veterans who have earned and deserve our care, compassion, and support.
