Monthly Food Collection Drive Supporting Homeless and Hungry Veterans

United Soldiers and Sailors of America holds a monthly Drive Up Food Drive in the parking lot of Christ Church in Accokeek, Maryland ( near Ft. Washington), supporting our homeless and elderly veterans who are food insecure. As an ALL-VOLUNTEER 501c3 nonprofit veteran service organization, USASOA grassroots programs provide direct relief of veteran hunger. Below is a list of nonperishable food that we collect every month. Our volunteers deliver to the

Department of Veterans Affairs Homeless Shelter and Resource Center, 1500 Franklin St NE,. Washington, DC 20018.

We also supply these food items to three VA Transitional Housing Units and to elderly veterans who are food insecure. YOUR SUPPORT MAKES A DIFFERENCE IN THE LIVES OF HUNGRY VETERANS.

FOOD COLLECTION LIST:

Canned, Microwavable and Non-Perishable Foods:

Tuna, Soups, Rice, Pasta, Pasta Sauces, Canned Veggies, Canned Meats, Crackers, Microwavable Ready to Eat Meals, Mac and Cheese, Instant Oat Meal, Breakfast Bars. etc.

Bottled Water, Gator Aide, Protein Drinks, 'Ensure' for Elderly Veterans.
