USASOA volunteers will be sleeping outside with the basics to help raise awareness and funding for our homeless and elderly veterans who are food and housing insecure.
We encourage other volunteers and organizations to support our often forgotten and marginalized veterans who live on the streets of our nation's Capital in quiet pain, despair, and hunger. The national tragedy of veterans homelessness and hunger must come to an end, but it will take the actions of other grateful Americans to ensure that reality.
